What is liquid coffee concentrate?
Myhem liquid coffee concentrate is made from 100% pure coffee beans that have been through our unique natural cold pressed brew process designed to deliver a consistent, shelf stable (at ambient temperature), barista style coffee in a concentrated, easy-to-use format.
Cold brew is brewed cold and served as-is. It's ready to drink but has a short shelf life and limited versatility. Coffee concentrate is brewed at a much higher strength, meaning you dilute it to taste each time. The result is more flavour control, longer fridge life, and a product that works hot, cold, in recipes, and in cocktails. Think of cold brew as a drink. Think of Mayhem as an ingredient.
This process produces a constant brix and caffeine content with a true to bean flavour profile so it tastes like cafe coffee, with full aroma and flavours, with no added ingredients.
How is it different to freeze dried coffee or espresso?
Unlike freeze dried, ground bean extraction, or dehydrated coffee granules, Mayhem liquid coffee is a concentrate.
This is using a process that captures the natural aroma of roast and ground coffee.
Traditional instant coffee brews the coffee first, cools it down and then extracts all the moisture which leads to a more 'bitter' or 'acidic' flavour from the bean and the roast.
Where is it made?
Mayhem coffee is produced in Melbourne with coffee sourced and harvested from the best coffee regeions across the world.

What does it taste like?
Our slow and cold brew style unlocks a bold, smooth coffee profile of rich chocolate, sweet caramel, and a hint of citrus with a refreshing, low-acidity finish.
What's the best ratio for coffee concentrate?
Start with 1:3 which is one part Mayhem to three parts liquid. That means 35ml of concentrate to roughly 100ml of milk, water, or your alternative of choice. Prefer it stronger? Go 1:2. Lighter? Push it to 1:4. There's no wrong answer and concentrate gives you control that a café never will.
How long does coffee concentrate last in the fridge?
Unopened, Mayhem keeps for up to 12 months. Once opened, keep it refrigerated and use within 2–3 weeks for the best flavour. The glass bottle helps — unlike plastic, glass doesn't interact with the coffee, so the taste stays exactly as it should from the first cup to the last.
Can you make a hot coffee with Mayhem liquid concentrate?
Absolutely. Add 35ml of Mayhem to 150–200ml of hot water or steamed milk and you have a full hot coffee in under a minute. No machine, no mess, no waiting. It's particularly good as a hot latte mixed with the concentrate holds its depth beautifully in steamed milk usually with less acidity too.
Is After Hours Decaff completely caffeine free?
After Hours is made using a high-quality decaffeination process that removes 99.9% of caffeine so it's as close to caffeine free as coffee gets without tasting like it. Same cold-pressed process, same glass bottle, same flavour depth as Filthy Rich. Just without the staring at the ceiling after midnight because you had an afternoon pick-me-up.
Why is Mayhem bottled in glass?
Because coffee is acidic and plastic affects the taste full stop, period. Glass is inert, meaning it doesn't interact with what's inside it. Your first cup and your tenth cup taste identical. It also keeps better, chills better, and looks significantly better in your fridge. We chose glass because we care what ends up in your cup, and because a luxury product deserves luxury packaging.
Can you use Mayhem in an expresso Martini?
Not only can you but, you should. Replace your espresso shot with 35ml of Filthy Rich or After Hours for a smoother, more consistent result every time. No machine, no mess, no weak martinis. Add vodka, coffee liqueur, and ice. Shake hard. Pour. You're welcome.
